Through consultation with the Student Engagement and Employability department at the , an opportunity was identified to build the financial literacy and entrepreneurial intelligence of select UOW students who access student support and specialist services.
We delivered a customised version of our Invest in Yourself: Exploring Money & Self Employment program to these students over five weeks at the end of 2022. The program aimed to strengthen participants鈥� financial literacy, explore alternative employment pathways, and develop entrepreneurial mindsets. 鈥�
The delivery of the program was successful, with participants building new confidence to start a business, and developing their financial knowledge.
